First Basketball Games

First off was Carsen's game, bright and early at 8am. We had to be there at 7:30, so we actually leave the house earlier than on a school day... ugh!!
They call out the starting line-up for each game and the kiddos get to run in. Super cool for them!

Believe it or not, I actually got a picture of his first basket!! (He's #15)

Carsen did a great job... we're very proud of him! He LOVES basketball, and you can tell by the way he plays. Soccer has helped him to learn to concept of offense and defense and he's taken off right where he left off.

Next up was Braeden:

Braeden and his guy running around the whole first quarter trying to get away from each other. Pretty funny!!

Braeden also did a great job for his first time ever. The defense is quite intense for the 1st and 2nd grade league, so you have to be a little more experienced dribbling... we need to work on that. But, the things that he COULD control, like his effort and his defense were great. He was most proud of his two blocked shots!

We can't wait for next week already!!
