We celebrated Braeden's birthday last night by letting him pick where we went for dinner. After a long battle of trying to decide (he ended up having to put a bunch of restaurants in a hat and pull one out... then decided he didn't want the one he pulled, instead he wanted to last one he picked.), we finally decided on Olive Garden.
Gaven REALLY enjoyed his spaghetti!!
After they came and sang Happy Birthday to Braeden, the people sitting next to us were getting ready to leave. An older man stood up and asked who the birthday boy was. We pointed to Braeden and he tossed him $2 onto the table and said "Happy Birthday!!" I thought that was so sweet, so I asked him if we could take his picture with Braeden. Of course he was willing. While we were getting ready for the picture, one of the others from their table told us that he is a Pearl Harbor survivor. Then, I noticed his hat. He told Braeden that he was having his picture taken with a legend!!

The real party will be in a couple weeks... He wanted to go bowling, and that was the only date that was open for a party. There will be more birthday pics to come after that!!
