A Little Holiday Cheer

Our wonderful missionaries, Elder Likiliki and Elder Goldsberry. They might have been more excited for the missionaries to come than for Christmas! Okay, I guess not, but close! We went to BLORA (Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area) last night. They have a 5 mile trail lined with all kinds of animated Christmas lights. It's a HUGE hit, and definitely something we will do every year! Especially when it's only $5! We were going to see Santa at his village, but we were afraid if we took the time to do that last night, we would get stuck behind a huge line of people and it would take longer than the normal hour to get through the lights. Instead, I took the boys out to the mall today to see Santa there. This first picture is right after Santa came out.

He brought the kids that were in line milk and cookies. I was pretty impressed by that!

I was very proud of Gaven for sitting with Santa. Especially since his brothers made him go first. He was a little unsure and a bit rigid, but for the most part, he did well!

I have a small bone to pick with Santa. I didn't want to pay the $17 for a picture of the boys, so I brought my own camera. They made me stand outside the gate to take a picture, which was fine, and I understood, however, I took a couple pictures and Santa WOULD NOT look up for the pictures. At least my boys were in the Christmas spirit! I'd rather see the sweet little faces of my boys than his anyway!

That's too bad that even santa wasn't showing some christmas cheer but it's still an adorable picture anyway!

Brave older brothers! Make the baby go first????? Silly boys! Silly Santa for not making the season bright with his smile, but I would rather see our boys than some fat old man! :)

Santa SHOULD have been smiling from ear to ear with those sweet little boys on his lap! Stinky Santa!! Grandma would have been smiling if I was holding those precious boys! Maybe if they didn't charge an arm and a leg for their pictures more people would take advantage of their services.
