Our Week Thus Far

I figured I'd start with a few pictures of Gav and explain his boo-boo. He took a tumble into the coffee table yesterday. Luckily, Dad was able to see us for just a few seconds in between his "real" patients and put a little steri-strip on it. As you can see by the second picture, taken this afternoon, it's healing up rather nicely (and quickly)!!
Last night, we took some time to carve our pumpkins. Each boy had their own little experience. Gaven's started in the pack and play, but after he hollered at us long enough, we let him out for a bit... long enough to check out his pumpkin, stick his hands in his brother's and make a be-line out the garage.

Carsen was very proud of his "wrinkly" pumpkin. He was our best helper, helping Dad whenever he needed it. The funnest part, in his eyes, was "popping out the face."

Braeden was all about the hype of carving pumpkins, but when it came down to it, he really didn't want to do the dirty work. As you can see in picture 3 and 4 in his collage, it took us about 10 minutes to convince him that it wouldn't hurt him to reach in and grab out the guts. Once he did, it wasn't so bad. He was excited to get to be the only one to draw his own face.

Here are the three munchkins with their pumpkins, and the older two after we were all done (Gaven was already in bed).

So, that was our week thus far, or at least anything that's been exciting. We're looking forward to this weekend when Jason's sister and Aunt are coming to visit for Halloween!

Fun fun!! The pumpkins here are too expensive for us, all imported. :( Zoe got the corner of her eye banged up a couple months ago, too. Looked exactly the same as Gavin's.

Ashton did the same thing, he thought the guts of the pumpkin would eat his hand off if he touched it! But then he got the hang of it. They are so funny. The pumpkins look really good, I love Carsens, the shape is really cool! I hope Gavens little head gets better, once they start moving all kinds of freak accidents start happening! :) Have a fun day tomorrow! I'll be excited to see your boys in their costumes! :)
