Thanksgiving in Dallas

We spent our 4th straight Thanksgiving in Dallas with Jason's cousin Krista and her family. We always look forward to our visits with them, but this time, our stay was a little longer than usual. We went up the Thursday before Thanksgiving because Jason had an interview at Baylor in Dallas. Then, Friday night, we headed down to Temple, TX where he had another interview. After that, Sunday morning Jason flew out to Michigan for an interview on Monday and got back late Monday night. We were finally able to start our "vacation" with Dad after that. We had a great time with them. One of the days we went to a park and made Smores and roasted hot dogs for dinner. The kids had a great time running around and playing with the Mauss kids. Here are some pictures of them getting the fire started, and then enjoying the food.

This is Savannah (8 yrs.) definitely enjoying her hotdog!

And finally, here's the whole gang, well at least the kids. From left to right: Rod, Camden, Carsen, Savannah, Ryan, Ali and Braeden. The only sad thing about leaving this year is that it could be our last!
