The Rockaroos

Camas Days annual kick-off concert in the park was a group called the Rockaroos. We knew the kids would love it, so we decided to check it out.
It was warm out, so made sure we stayed well hydrated!
With a little candy here and there. :-)
We were there a bit early because we were told it started a 1/2 hour before it actually did, so Papa took the boys to the playground part of the park. The two older boys ran and were there in seconds, but Papa was more patient with little Roo.

FINALLY, the concert began.
Gaven and his cousin Landen were the bravest two to begin with. The two older boys didn't even want to get out of their chairs to start.
Then Gaven and Landen needed a break... a break from standing and watching the other kids dance.
They started a choo-choo song and Gaven was the only one that would join in the "Train."

Gaven finally loosening up and danced. He jumped up and down for the ENTIRE song!
They had an ABC song that Braeden and Carsen finally got up and participated in. They both got one of the letters and when they said Braeden's letter, he held it high and was proud... Carsen, on the other hand, looked like he wished he hadn't even gotten out of his chair. He DOESN'T like being in the spotlight.
Braeden got picked to participate in one of the other songs. I was happy to see him finally loosen up because he really enjoys this kind of thing.

Gaven, still rockin' out!
The boys played hard that night. Braeden and Gaven dancing, and Carsen pretending to be a baseball player. He makes me laugh. He couldn't care less that there was a concert going on in front of him. He just wanted to pretend that he was a star baseball player hitting the game winning home run.
