We headed out to my brother's house to celebrate the 4th of July.
My brother and his beautiful family... his oldest daughter, Kyli, his wife, Michelle, his son, Kelsey, and his youngest daughter, Karlee.
When you put little boys in white shirts, it's best to take pictures at the very beginning of the night.

Papa decided he would light off a few of the fireworks that he brought that he's been meaning to get rid of. I was thinking we might be in for a long night when both my boys had their fingers in their ears just like last year.
Then Papa decided to let of an ENTIRE strand of firecrackers at once.Gaven wasn't lovin' THAT!
Poor thing!
We headed inside, then out back for some dinner. Michelle cooked up some good grub!
After dinner, I went on a short bike ride with my brother and his new bike. It's pretty sweet to see him out and going so independently!!
My sweet niece, Kyli, taking abuse from my boys. They LOVE her!
I happened to peak out back and saw this:
I couldn't resist capturing a picture, and then running to get Kelsey so we would have ALL the kids. Thanks for being a good sport, Kels!

When the real fireworks began, it was very apparent that Gaven wasn't wanting anything to do with them.

And Grandma being the awesome Grandma that she is (and also being cold), was more than willing to go sit in the car with Gaven so he could enjoy the show. That he did!!

The boys wanted to set up a battle with the two remaining tanks. Papa got them lit and we stood back to see which one won.
Looks like the one on the left was the last one standing!!

After a long night, we headed home, but the big boys didn't make it.
