One More Try

Gaven had his 18 month well-child check the other day. After his last ear infection and another round of antibiotics, just 2 weeks ago, he still has ear infections. We're giving it one more go with a round a Rocephin shots. He gets 3 shots on 3 consecutive days (yesterday was the last one thankfully!) and we're keeping our fingers crossed that his ears will be clear in another few weeks when he's checked again. If not, it looks like a date with the ENT, and I'm assuming probably tubes. We'll see.
On that note... our baby boy is sure growing up. Even though he's our pint-sized Mann (40th percentile in height and weight) compared to his brothers at this age, he's sure getting to be a big boy with the things he can do. He's the newest little member of our nursery at church. He did well his first Sunday until diaper duty called with about 10 minutes left. Today was a little different... maybe he's already figuring it out! I was hoping for at least 2 good weeks, but I should know better by now.

Grandma's keeping her fingers crossed. Don't want my baby boy to have to have tubes put in, but don't want those dang ear infections to continue either! He is such a happy boy. XXXOOO
