Saturday evening was our ward's annual social at our Bishop's house. It's actually a 3-ward social. The forecast called for rain, rain and a little more rain, but they don't cancel, it's an all or nothing thing. Gaven stayed home with Jason because they were both still a little under the weather. Here are Braeden and Carsen enjoying the "scissor-lift" ride.

...and then running from the rain!!! Just as we finished eating and were headed back to our chairs to wait for fireworks, which were still a couple hours away... the rains came down and the floods came up!! Since the boys had just recently gotten over being sick, we didn't think it would be best to stay and tough it out.
They were a bit disappointed to leave before the fireworks, but with the amount of rain that came down in the short time we were waiting to get out of there, we think we made the right decision!

That's what happened to you! We were under the pavilion just in time for it to dump...then lingered till it stopped. Hopefully next year it'll be dry!
