Good Times With Friends

We're doing a "date swap" with my good friend Tammy, so we had her girls over last night. The boys LOVE hanging out with "the girls". Our kids are almost the exact same age, with the exception of her oldest who is 2 years older than Braeden. While the big kids were swimming, the little two were having fun, too. This next series of pictures cracks me up... First of all: They are smiling at each other, sharing the cozy coupe...
Next, it's a little more of a struggle as to who gets to steer:
"Hey guys, look over here and smile!"
Then Holly says, "Enough sharing, get your hands off!"
I'd like to think in the next picture that Gaven is being a gentleman, but really, I think he's telling her that he's had enough and it's time for her to get out...
and she's doing what any woman would do... Ignoring him!!
Another one of Carsen's infamous smiles!!
Becca, enjoying Carsen's goggles
Kayla finally became comfortable and gave me a smile.

Braeden later found out that Gaven could reach the toys from the outside of the pool.
I had to bribe him to stand still long enough to take this picture.
Gaven was really sad not to get to swim. Holly didn't really know, but Gaven sure knew what the big kids were doing in there! He finally busied himself by throwing the toys back in to the pool.
Once he threw the ball in, and Carsen saw that it was a ball, it became a game. Leave it to Carsen to see how far he can throw it out and STILL have Gaven chase it down!

Love those curls, Gaven. I wonder how much he thinks he is missing out on from the last post to this one. Watching the big kids is tough on the little one! Looks like fun!

How fun! Carsen's smile is hilarious!! So what's easier? A family of all girls, or a family of all boys?
