Papa is here!

The boys have been waiting anxiously since Papa told them that he would be coming in December for "that time" to come. It was finally here. Yesterday, Papa flew into Austin just before dinner time. Our first stop was to get some food. Can you tell who the boys are excited to see? Everyone enjoyed the meal, even Gaven! (Although Gaven's bib is reminding everyone where his loyalties lie - click on the picture to make it bigger if you can't read it.)

Unfortunately, Braeden had another one of his headaches on the way home (more to come about that later). Once we got home, it was REALLY bad, so it was Tylenol and to bed. The thing is, Braeden knew that he had a few presents to open, and told me that he would rather do it in the morning - it was HIS idea to go to bed. I tried to talk him into opening them, and he just continued to cry and said that he couldn't because it hurt too bad. The Tylenol finally kicked in and after laying in his room for a few minutes, he decided he felt better enough to open. You can tell in the picture that he had been crying and doesn't feel well. (Grandma is watching in the background)
